I have a question on items that give -15-20% requirements.
Ive just aquired a pb greif which requires 29 more dex than i have.Now does say adding a hel rune to a Hoz just lower requirements of the item that holds the hel or requirements of all gear? i was tossing around the idea of replacing my dracs for IK and gores for cowking boots(+40 dex between the 2) but not sure if losing those 2 items will warrant any increase in damage from pb greif. Or should i sell pb and use my zerker greif in order to keep dracs and gores?

The Hel rune will just reduce the requirements for that item I'm afraid, good thought though.

I can't say for sure which gear setup to go for. Not sure the character, but if we're talking a zealot or smiter, you'd probably gain overall damage by going for whichever grief has the highest +damage, but the main usability decider I'd think would be that I wouldn't want to lose the life tap from dracs. That's my humble opinion though.

that was a thought about losing the lifetap on dracs but i use marrowwalk cast lifetap then switch back to gores,im a little unsure if lifetap is still working when i unequip my marrows but yes im smite/zealer

3x ko runes in your hoz, and 2 other socketable armor gear = +30 dexterity.

edit: btw, you have a zerker grief already. why insist on using the phase blade?

You can't 3x Ko a HoZ.

Anyways, you need the dex to block anyways, so there is no loss in using PB.

Just from readin forums PB is suppose to be better,dunno why but its usually said to use pb .After looking at both cant say pb is any better other than it dont break as fast.However my fav weps are my shealed astreons and deal shaeled heavans light

btw, you have a zerker grief already. why insist on using the phase blade?pbs are considerably faster. Speed -30 instead of speed 0.

The only real reason to use a grief zerker on a smiter in my opinion is for pvp. An all vita build or a smiter vs smiter might forgo block for life.
If your building pvm or any max block build, you might as well go pb for the speed and indestructibility because with max block your only going to need, as you say 30 or so more dex to wield a pb.
If you have to switch to less optimal gear to use it, however, I'd say either stick with zerker or remake your character.
Lifetap is a durational thing, so once you cast it, it will remain in effect until it runs out or is overridden with another curse. So switching boots is fine, albeit annoying seemingly.
