Duress vs. Fort

I read that the two highest damage weapon armor combos with or without beastz or storm shield were grief zerker and duress or fury zerker and fort. I would think tombreaver would fall into the duress/grief catagory. They also haev their side bennefites, fort has slightly better resists if it's a good one and extra life and duress has focus on cold but more importantly it has fhr which i think is a ton more useful then 150 life that doesn't get multiplied.
I also like it for uber runs, crushing blow is nice.

also, it would make sence to me for pvm ribcracker fort > duress as ribby has the massive crushing blow mod.

or is the idea of multiplying it's damage to the point where you can one hit people? Actualy i think they are close to even there, duress you might tie people more offten though :/

I would only use Duress on a kicker or Hungry bear where the +damage amplification doesn't help much

Fort is definitely better vs ubers if you get your crushing blow with other gear. Guillame's Face + Gore Riders gives 50% cb, which should be enough. If your helm and boot slots are taken with other important gear that you don't want to change, then Duress is probably better for you.

Dude, CB is way overrated :tongue:. If you had 50% CB you're set for Ubers. Even just Stormlash & Goblin toes, your set. Deffinitely go fort because better resistance and damage... not that the damage aspect is that important, but remember with lifetap more damage = more leech. So yeah, damage is important for your own survival. If you have lifetap triggered and do 3k maul dmaage... that's gonna be far better than 1.5k damage leech.
