Ok.. So now I have given PvP a shot..

Ive done pub and privat duels the last weeks, I didnt make a (that big) fool out of my self. I was expecting to be beat like 9/10 games in the beginning, because of my noobiness, but managed to win about 3-4/10. Which is good imo, when thinking of the fact that I havent played (alot)PvP before.

But despite the fairly good results for me, I still find it boring. What do I do wrong? How can I go from boring to fun?

im guessing you tried duelling with a high lvl char? if so try lld or mld. MUCH more fun imho :laugh:

Ive tried hld this time yes. Did have a lvl49 last ladder, but result was the same. Maybe lld is a way to go.

Or maybe a char change? Ive have almost only played Sorc and Ama for PvM and made sorc and ama for PvP also..maybe for PvP I should try a char that I havent done in PvM before...

Do you duel solo? It's more fun to duel with/vs. friends :azn: Try NL, we'll be more than happy to duel you :cool:

I might go for NL this time, I guess the duels are the same(except the people), but its much cheaper(not that Im poor though:laugh:)

if you ever feel like duelling on ladder i have a lvl 30 charger (stripped of eq, but can mule it back to him), a 49 zealsin and a 49 kicker. building my first druid atm, and thinking about making a 49 fury wolf. not sure if i got the wealth to make one yet though.

edit: the zealsin is also stripped, but i still have (or should have at least) all her eq too.

depends on what sorc it is and how well equiped she is. my kicker have killed many a hl sorc :laugh:

i did beat a light sorc with infinity merc o.o

seriously though, i dont think i can beat you if a) you got a very high lvl (90+) with decent eq or b) you have a 80ish char with great eq. and im sure you know how to duel so that wont be a prob. my biggest troubles is fire and cold sorces:laugh:

i doubt i will do much against you, but will always give it a try. ES sorces are usually easy though because of the 2,2k(ish) psn dmg i recieve from venom. also if you reach 86 fhr bp getting you stunlocked will be very difficult. would mana be allowed? i can only manage a few traps and mb per stunlock and still have enough mana for Dflight and Dtail.

a win can be possible, but i need some luck with claw block then. only have 56% IIRC to block. also would you consider tgods bm? :laugh:

not related? :shocked: he was asking for how he can have fun in duels, and i asked if he wanted to duel me. if you think about discussing the chars, well not entirely related, but still is in some way (imho)

PvP is all about the peeps try signing up here (http://forums.diabloii.net/showthread.php?t=533626) and meet some people on your server and see if you have a click.
Otherwise you may have to customise a pvp charcter because transfering a pvm character to pvp will more than likely fail.
Or maybe pvp isn't your cup of tea, look at some of the videos here (http://forums.diabloii.net/showthread.php?t=614453) and if you find them boring as well then more on or try team pvp or lld.
I just think your problem is that your charcter might be getting 1 hit koed and you need more life/ better block/ stronger es. (Notice I didn't say better eq...It was on purpose)

The point with the PvM char transfer to PvP char, was mainly that I only need to put an Infinity on my merc and Im good to go for PvM also. Cant do that with a pure firesorc for example.
Ill think about the team duels and lld, but maybe PvP just isnt my cup of tea as you say.

Hehe, I see your point. But the loosing wasnt the boring part, since I expected to loose far more than that :smiley:
