Are there many WHcL?

As I was going through some of the threads I was noticing that not too many people seem to be from west. I just started playing hardcore after switching to ladder and I was hoping to play with some forum members eventually. Should I switch over to East, or are there a sufficient amount of West players that are cool people to play with? I just started, so switching wouldn't really be a problem.

There honestly aren't many of us. The Westside Connection Untwinked guys are about the heaviest concentration of members on WHcL ladder. And there's what .. eight of us? You can play at night and find 1 or 2 other games in the que. It's sad, really.

Anyway I suggest switching to east if you don't mind. There's a lot of good dudes in the banana channel, and they'll help you get off your feet, give you some gear, etc.

I agree, other than our westside gig, I play on East.

I play on west and like it, though i'm probably very bias becaused i havent ever played on east though i hear its busier
i like the fact that on west there is sort of a sense of community between many players of hardcore because names start to look familiar and everyone seems to be a friend of a friend after you play for a while
but having said that its true often there aren't a plethora of games which can be seen as a bad thing or a good thing (bad because you don't have as many choices but good because if your in a chant game for example you're likely to run into many of the people you levelled with in baal games later on)
oh and you start to recognize pkers too a bit easier theres usually the regular names that you stay away from and are generally recognized to be pkers

your choice but consider what i've said (all of these things may be applicable to east as well though probably less-so with more people on the realm)

Well, I found a gull dagger from andy quest in norm, which is odd because I just found one from norm trist on my ScL h-din. Is anyone on right now in east that wants to play some hardcore with me?

P.S. I've decided that I'm going to switch... But whoever wants a gull dagger, some pretty decent low lvl merc bow, stealth breast plate, cleglaw's shield and wep, some jewels, malice, crushflange, and rixot's keen can have it all on west.
But I think I'm going to kamikaze my char and go all 1337 pwnag3 on sum n00bs(go into a game and act the fool, get everyone mad, and just die by fire in andys room). Yepp, Lmk if anyone needs this stuff or if there's a west free mule thingy.
