Hi, just wanted to ask is everything alrite with Armageddon skill?
cuz i dont understand why it is not used by many people. IT has great damage and kils automaticly. Backed up with infi it should rock. I never ever seen this spell used.

It's a cool skill I'll say, but for dueling/pvm killing purposes, it's like Thunderstorm. You can't target it, and half the time you notice it hit something, it'll be fire immunes.

Even with infinity, outside of fallen, the fire immunity wont break. On my fire druid I have points in it purely for the Volcano synergy. I sometimes cast it when I'm dueling, but usually leave it alone.

I'm sure there are people that swear by it for sure though. I imagine a nicely pumped Arma can do 20K+ damage and If i saw that hit someone, i'm sure it might hurt a bit.

hmm are you sure infi wont break imunities?
it does -85 res. Venom Lords in Chaos have 130 fire res and they are pretty much the most fire proved creature arent they?
Farther can you tell me how often armageddon hits?

Conviction only works at 1/5 effectiveness against immune monsters. Geddon works better once you get a feel for it, but even then you can't always get it to hit. It's also easier to control when you're running fast.

ive tried using an infinity on my fc druid and it rarely breaks many immunes. Not worth using it.

its 1/5 AFTER breaking the immunity as far as i know.
Farther i still dont understand how infi should not be able to break those fire immunes as you guys tell.
Is it bugged? Cuz it should break any immunity with those -85res.

It works at 1/5th the rate on immunes.

So if it removes -85 res, cut that into 1/5th. That's how much res it will remove, I believe it's something like 17.

ive played through all the acts with it, it will only break a few monsters fire immunity. it wasnt enough to justify using it.

It's 1/5 effectiveness when breaking immunities, like with Lower Resist.
