i was just wondering if MF affects if your character is glitched, like if im on a meph glitcher and have mf on some of my gear. does that affect it?

Yes it does, you're guaranteed at least rares and mf will increase the chance of getting instead of rares, sets - and failed sets (double dura blues) - and uniques - and failed uniques (tri dura rares).

Having 0 is generally considered preferable.
