Some of these kind of "builds" are very fun. Like my stormlash fury druid, with whom I chose to maximize wind synergies and lycanthropy rather than fury/ww/oak and such. Makes for some excellent PVM moments.

Ctc builds can be a lot of fun too - it's even possible to make some neat theme builds that way - my old spamazon used lots of necromancer spells; ctc confusion from delirium, amp when struck and ctc bone spear from "Brand" (which made for a constant whooshing noise when strafing). Granted you're a bit more limited with weapon choices on a shifter due to ias issues. Go do a little reading up around the forums and Arreat Summit and find some other neat (and maybe even useful) ctc effects - I remember SSoG posting about using "Bone" for the bone armor on one of his werebears which absolutely freaked out pubbies - and go have some fun.

Heh, well every piece of equipment doesn't have to have a ctc effect on it. Just find some that go well together and can do some damage or help with crowd control. Animage's Stormlash fury druid could easily slap on a Carrion Wind and be casting tornadoes for damage, static field to weaken enemies and twister for some added crowd control, not to mention poison novas when struck and gain a bunch of leech from the ring. That's a bunch of fireworks with just two pieces of gear, allowing you to keep the rest fairly "cookie cutter." Fireworks are always a lot of fun. :prop:
