View Full Version : Now this is just silly...
Okay, a friend of mine was telling me that in addition to the Act 5 hack, there can also be runes on classic? I'm a bit disturbed at this. :/ It's ruining classic.
Thoughts?

Proof?
I'm sure your freind is joking, lieing, or does not know what is going on. =]
Well, he just sent me this:

If this is true, I may have found a reason to stop playing classic. :/
Edit: Just in case the pic isn't working, it's of an enigma in the stash.
Well, the picture might just have been edited, but I guess there's some way to get runes into classic, though I suppose it's not possible on the realms. Anyway even if it is possible just don't use it...

I'm pretty sure that is edited, If it were possible, we'd be seeing a lot more of those around.

It's probably single player or equivalent.

I can't help but also to notice that it is Eth and Indestructible. It is most definitely not possible. I know in SP you can make a eth weapon indestructible by putting something like Oath in it, but can you even do such a thing with an armor? Afaik you cannot. Prudence maybe, but that 2 soc IIRC.
Not to mention, what BP do you know of that has 10 base def? 775-765 = 10. Hell, it means it would be like 7.5 or something before the eth bonus is applied.
Come on, if your gonna PS something to say its on the realms, do it right!!!

10 def is default value on the most popular item/char editor. Default durability is 0/0, indestructible. I expect it's ilvl 99 as well.

I think in 1.09 zod worked by MAKING the item indestructible. Then, if you unsocket it (not possible in 1.09), it will open up the socket and leave the indestructibility. In 1.10+, zod simply worked as another mod, so if you unsocket it, the indestructibility vanishes too.
Well, what I mean is that eth indest on a non-zod item IS possible, at least on NL.

And no second weapon slot too.
It's single player. I could do this myself in 2 minutes, so could anyone (I don't though ^^).

Inventory/Stash has more available spaces in xpac than in classic.

I don't think you can get runes without hacking/messing with the system.

Yeah, that's kind of the point of this thread...
Well, I'm glad to see that everyone seems to think it's faked. I really wouldn't have wanted to keep playing if they had actually gotten runes into classic :/

On europe a5 is fully patched. Also runes in classic was a joke made on 1st April by someone wanting to poke at us classic players.
On east I think its fully patched too but there might be someone how already got the a5 wp which can still use it. In other words: Characters made after the patch was applied can not use this exploit.
