So i have about 13 extra points... after maxing the usefuls.. and i was wondering..

should i throw the rest of the points into:
1) HS
2) Charge
3) Light Resist?

Is the primary attack of liberators smite or charge?

lol... libbys are charge/hammy variant.

and therefor should've been maxed as a "useful". :azn:

hmm,

mine max out:
Hammer
Vigor
light resist
and balance between conc and ba using Tienje's hammer spreadsheet.

My build has 46dr(no prebuff), 125fcr, 86fhr, mb, 90 passively in light and fire, 75 in poison and cold. With this layout, many fc zons accuse me of sorb cuz I could tank a lot of cs and fight other casters at the same time. Actually, i am not, cuz I have 90 passively. 95 on aura switch. Trust me, without more resist, even trappers may be hard for a hdin.

I suggest you throw all your remaining points into resist light now. If not, invest at least 10 into it. You may use tgods for more stack, but you might not have max dr after that. But there is always treachery for that.[/

jaxz, your build isn't technically a Liberator. Liberators don't have enough skill points to spend in Resist Lightning. Basically what you have is a weakened Hammerdin (non-maxed BA/Concentration) with one-point Charge. Which is also effective, I'm not saying it's a bad build, but yeah it's not exactly a Liberator.

superman22, I agree with the others, max Charge.

Maybe you can call it griefdin.

For me, I am not a fan of max out charge. When would I use it? For versus zons or sorc only, and they are mostly weak in life, and I find 1 point more than enough. Besides ,you do not need too much hammer damage to kill. 10k hammers is usually enough.

What kills a liberators is the lack of stack max resist. You cannot charge a trapper or smite her if you can't tank more than 5 traps, and have max dr at the sametime fighting another bowzon. Unless you use tgods + fade. For me, I am not a fan of fade as I find the duration too short.

Besides, your Liberator build you had mentioned above is not really a popular build on us west nl. If you like charge a lot, you can make a pure charger/smite instead. A pure charger takes out casters easily, usually within 1 charge, the most 2-3 versus druids.

Im a fan of just one point in charge and putting rest of points in light aura like jaxz.

I made both variants and honestly i did not noticed a "significant" increase in damage from maxing charge and light based attacks pretty much kicked my tail in unless i put on a t-god.

Now that im usin the defensive build with one point charge and rest into light aura after other skills i just have to wear a wisp ring to pretty much keep myself from being 2-4 shotted from FC amazons etc etc and am pretty much immune to light attacks.

Blizz sorcs are a pain in the rear still.
