How do you make a zon that can solo hell chaos sanctuary effectively? I tried to make a hybrid freezing arrow/strafer bowazon, but the flesh spawners still give me a lot of problems. I can kill them with guided arrow, but I lose a lot of money, so it isn't worth it. I use a 122 gothic bow. Could anybody tell me about any kind of zon that can solo chaos effectively without losing a lot of money, or do zons just have to party with other people to gain levels?

Also how much mana leech should a bowazon actually have?

Your best bet is a Strafer with a high damage Ballista, Howltusk, and anything else to keep the enemy away. 50 IAS (Deaths/Sigons + Twitch) is good for 4 frame strafe with 15 frame normal shots. If you get a 20 IAS Ballista, 70 total IAS would mean 14 frame normal shots or that you change up other armor slots and keep 50 IAS. A 20 IAS Ballista with Deaths + Rattlecage/Boneflesh + Howltusk + Gtoes would definitely keep the CB, KB, Flee, and possible Open Wounds going. It'd also leave you very vulnerable to magic, though. You would at the least want rings and an ammy with leech and good LR and/or FR.

As strafe is always 11 mana, no matter the level, a mana leech prismatic ammy should cover your mana needs. If you're keeping the monsters away like you should be and using Deaths combo, life leech won't be a huge issue and you can get ring leech as needed.

It's not an expensive character to make, just one that requires specific items and a bit of patience when clearing.

I was thinking of a zon that could solo and also do pretty well in full games. Also she should not be wasting a lot of money on mana potions. I realize that a poison/lightning javazon can solo chaos sanctuary effectively but I don't think she does well in full games.

I'm thinking you won't be surprise/raiding very many games solo, as even the glass cannon build that Fred made is by no means a really quick way to kill cs level monsters in a full game.

as for the psn zon... honestly haven't seen any of those in quite a while, and I'm thinking there's a pretty good reason why :tongue:

No amazon build can solo CS effectively in full games in classic. LF/strafe would be the best bet but... no. Hammerdins obviously can, a blizz or very slowly an orb with a solution for seis could, a barb should be able to as well but would either be risking death by IM or relying on zerk which is pretty bad in classic.

So I guess you are using the strafe for cold immunes, but the flesh spawners are just too numerous and keep multiplying. You might search for an enchantress to help out, not the silly lvl=1 ones, but one that can deliver a potent enchant: at least 600, and up to 1600 fire damage. In addition to physical damage, that should be enough to get rid of the mobs, but it does take partying up...
