Does Rabies work in PvP?

I mean does the poison stop at 1hp? Or does it kill?
Does it spread when your oppoent gets close to some monsters?

Please tell me Rabies functions in PvP :)

Rabies spreads with contact, and I'm almost positive that it will kill opponents. It will get them down to 1hp and then the next application of the poison will take them out. It is very effective against dumb windys cause all you have to do is infect one of the wolves and then they will tele them on top of themselves and die in a few seconds.

Acutally most windys have very nice poison resistance and life so they often is'nt damaged much by rabies. But it can make windys to play more offensive :thumbsup:

It get effective when its over 40,000 damage.

But even then massive stacked poison resistance negates it.

I have around 50k rabies damage but the most windy's I duel still take a very small amount of damage. Probably because they wear treks+carrion wind/nature's peace, but that is'nt bm so a good windy would use that.

Yep, that's when you switch to lower Rabies damage, use it to kill minions, then Fury his hippy rear into oblivion :).

Fortunatly, Most pubs would never carry carrion/natures lol.

Most sorb setups only carry around the cold/light/fire sorbs because poison isnt a threat to them. That's where us druids come in :thumbsup:

I would never make the mistake of calling you a pub though Jay lol.

The few poison necro's I've seen haven't really warranted me to carry +poison res gear around at all, as I've never faced a pro one =/ I'm sure dueling someone really good on one would change my look.

And outside of people on this forum, I've yet to see a rabies druid this ladder.
