How does + fire dmg% on facets affect the skills molten boulder and volcano, which do part fire and part phys?
Do they just increase the fire part of the skill, or do they increase both parts of the skill (i wouldnt be surprised if this was the case; it seems like the sort of bug that would exist:rolleyes:)

Facets affect the fire damage part, not the physical part.

They shouldn't affect the physical but I somewhat doubt anyone's actually done any actual testing to discover if they are bugged... Ed may know different.

Can't see why they would be bugged, do you have any reason for thinking so?

No, I never tested it. But I figure it must be the same as Corpse Explosion, and lots of players have used that. If you use CE, Amplify Damage increases (only) the physical part and Lower Resist (only) the fire part. It's logical that the same is the case for Volcano/Boulder. From this it follows that Fire Facets affect the fire damage done by skills, but not the physical part.

Also see Vengeance from the Paladin Tree. Facets only increase their respective elemental damage.

Adding Fire facets to my fire druid did nothing to increase the damage of my physical side of Volcano :(

It't very hard to counter sorbers/stackers with dr and block no matter what for a fire druid :(
