ed min max bug

hi, ive got a question regarding the min max %ed bug when socketing jewels into items.
i know it exists on helms and body armour. my question is does it exists when socketing a similar jewel into a paladin shield (either shield with ed% or res%).

won't work properly, it doesn't for any socketing except in a weapon itself.

now in both helms and pally shields (both of which can have %edamage) the %edamage that they already have works properly with any min and/or max jewel. but if you put a %edamage jewel in either, the %ed from that jewel does not work correctly. so in summation %ed already on an item = good, %ed from a jewel = bad (unless you dont plan on mixing in max/min jewels then it's all good).
