View Full Version : Bowzon or Bonemancer?
I'm making a new PvP character, that is relatively easy to play, since I just can't get desynch + tele down with my hammerdin....
So what is better AND easier to play? Should I go for a bowzon, or a bonemancer, or maybe something else? Gear really isn't a problem, I have about 30-40 or so HR's.
Thanks!
30-40 hr's won't buy you a zon worth playing.
probably better off sticking with a necro. it'll fare better in general when you're under budget constraints.

Really? I play in US East Ladder... Hmmm Faith GM Bow is a few HR's, CoH or any other high runeword is a few... Already have perfect Ber'd Shako... Rings, Boots, Belts should be a few more HR's.
Other than charms, (The small charms are expensive), everything else should be under budget. After buying decent gear minus charms, I should still have 20 or so HR's. What's the big problem?

you'll need 3x 40/15ias jewels and a jeweler's modded helm if you're going to use your GMB faith, which will be quite pricey on ladder.
the thing with zons is that you need to have high-end equipment (charms are VERY important) to perform well. you can definitely piece together a half-assed zon very easily, but it won't fare well in general pvp.
p.s. use a fort.

Alright so bonemancer it is then, unless someone has a better alternative.

try a 9 fpa budget wf zon with around 150%frw. If you like it invest in a zon, otherwise make the nec. If you are used to a hammerdin likely both chars will kinda dissapoint you at the start, keep playing them and don't give up to easily.
