Point me in the right direction

I left D2 after season one of 1.10 and have only fairly recently taken it back up again, so I missed this whole thing about the ubers and how they spawn and such, so can someone tell me where I might find all the relevant info? I looked on Arreat Summit, but all I found was information about the monsters and items, but not how the quest or whatever comes about.
