So I'm duelling someone (who happens to be a member here too - but we'll hopefully be civil and not name each other) fairly often the last couple of days.

All was fine until today, when it seems everytime both our characters are on the same screen - then my screen starts to flicker.... ALOT.

This didn't happen for the past 2 months or so, and I haven't downloaded any "enhancements" for the game. So my assumption is this other player has done so.

Can anyone confirm this is something seen when playing with known hackers?

I haven't seen a "flicker" as you described it, but I have seen the flash (think thunderstorm on steroids) used to not only disorient in duels, but used on top of pickit in a cs.

Flash hack, its in one of the plugins for redvex proxy server, the same thing that has tppk, chant bot, etc.

well now that it's been 'named' I've seen flash hack in action, but never seen it as a flicker - more of the blinding flash of thunderstorm exponentially raised.

re: squiggle's comments - it is indeed something laughable that someone would resort to its use. some of the other hacks are a bit less obvious and can at least be debated in a game. a nub using flash hack is so blatantly obvious at how bad they must suck that they're not really worth even talking to and in turn are ezsquelch.

I guess it could be described as 'flashing' rather than 'flickering'. One thing I noticed is that it seems to calm down a little when teleporting - and as I am a firm believer of not standing still (unless u wanna lose) during a duel, I was tele'ing alot.

I'm not gonna say who he is.

Hopefully, this thread has embarrassed him enough without doing so. :soapbox:

If you REALLY want to know: I suggest you hostile/pk every glitcher you see on USEast (besides me! lol).

Unless he turns it off - you'll soon know.

I'll also add - the hack didn't help him. He still lost.
