Q about (self-)rush and baalquest

Just bought second copy of D2LOD and trying to rush my first mule to nightmare. How can he get baalquest in normal? I know - there's a bug or something, but how to use it?

Try using search on Grush or glitch rush

Let me just check: there're 2 options to get lvl 1 mules to the next difficulty, right?

1) To party with someone who has ancsients quest, but doesn't have Baal's one so when he/she gets the Baal's quest everyone in his/her party do - despite of their clvls - called "baalbug".
2) To make a classic char, to level your classic mules with her to act3 in hell difficulty and then convert them to expansion ones - called "grush".

Those are 2 options however correction on 2.) act4 hell
You could also:
3.) Party with someone who needs baal for quest wait in act5 while they finish the quest and get credit for it.

I need to correct you, MassiveSin.
As soon as your rushee is at the start of act3 hell classic you can convert to LoD. The character will be in act3 hell LoD after the conversion.
