Draks hands down but.. you need to be lvl 90 for them to shine, rends you need to much str to use them and the bennys are not that great

Hmmm yeah. Rends only really have a place on some PvM Berserker barb or Conc defense tank builds, and even then Bloodfist gives them a run for their money.

Even <90 Dracs would be better.

I found two Dracs in a row at Travinsal with my goldfind barb.
Best luck i ever had.

(sorry for that piece of useless information, had to tell someone, lol)

Why level 90? That's ridiculous. What is a "benny"? What version of D2 do you play? oO


The damage on rends are nice but dracs/trangs are better for normal barbs and trangs are better on zerkbarbs.

Benny I think is benefit.

I use rends because I lost my dracs drop trading them :(

rends can see some good use on a bvb build thats useing sacred fort and up'd arreats. for a low str build, dracs all the way.

Since openwounds damage scales with clevel & level 90 makes it worthwile.

& how is trangs better on zerkers?

Anyway,I'd never use anything other than laying of hands for pvm,thats like wearing a fort armor when attacking demons(which are 1/2 the monsters in game & all bosses)

The only place rends have on any diablo character are on tournament based Zealots and Conc baba's. Other than that its either dracs for pvp or laying of hands for pvm. IMO there are no other real choices besides some crazy crafted blood glove.

The only thing that makes sense to me is that you need the FCR from Trang's in order to spam War Cry to keep you alive while your defense is zero. :D

I know this is OT, but my berserker who has about 4k life, 50DR, 75 block has not died much ever since he got into NM. I do use howls sparingly, and also got a delirium on my merc. I really don't see much advantage in spamming more howls/warcrys, tho i usually run unique monsters only. I use LoH which converts alot more of my physical into magic, and of course swing faster :cool:...

Scale is linear after lvl 60 so the difference between 89 and 90 is insignificant. Zerk doesn't benefit from open wounds like ww so trangs are clearly better than dracs (leaves ring or belt slot free while ww'ers normally want dracs+fcr rings+arach vs alot of casters).
