Hot key question

Heya, I'm finding now that i have more spells now than f1 slots....
so im kinda at a lost, because it seems i cant hotkey a spell past like f8...

You can hotkey things onto the keys also like asdfzxcvqwer. They can all have spells on them.

To do so hit esc then select control menu and select your keys as you wish.

Yeah sorry I am getting really lazy recently when giving advice. It would also help if i still play more than 1x a month.

I like giving advice but I just can't give solid reasoning to why it is true. :(

It would probably help if I started playing again. Well also if my work hadn't blocked all the sites I use for refernce. Arreat Summit, German Skill Calc, Etc.:banghead: :rant: :weep:

ok cool, so i can just hit esc, and program other things to be my spells like the letter A.

It's all a preferance thing but here's what I do and it seems to work quite well:

I'm a right-hander so that's the mouse... so I prefer my hotkeys to be on the left side of the Keyboard.

A S D F are my belt slots
Z X C V B are main switches I use the most.

N G H J are back-ups and I sometimes use the "F#" keys for the seldom used abilities.

You can loose some of the default keys by re-mapping, but you just change them to something else (I think the Charcter key might be "C" - I change it to "K").
