it's his corpse explosion. You can't block it, and half of it is physical dmg so resistance isn't that great against it. Try luring his minions far away from him, then he won't explode them and you can kill them off without worrying
the viper poison dmg is bugged
use some dmg reduced by x gear, or a 2-3 sol helm to almost completely nullify it
Does damaged reduced by X really works ?? For example if i get 1000 dam, and i got a damage reduced by 2 bonus from some item, so does it really reduces it to 500 dam ???
The you would only take 998 damage. It doesn't seem much, that as the physical damage works per frame (at 25 frames per second), you'll reduce the physical-bugged-ciper damage by 50 per second.
3 sols have a damage reduction of 21, so 21*25 = already quite some damage that you take less from the bugged viper poison clouds per second.
P.S. I think you need more then 3 sols. Wasn't the damage per frame something like 60?
iirc vipers do ~45pd/frame
the game is calculated at 25fps
3sol = -21/frame + 45= 24/frame = 600pd/s
alot better than 1125ps/s

alot better than 1125ps/sThat's a bit simplified. The viper poison cloud is bugged so that every reapplication of the poison applies physical damage. If you don't move in the cloud, it's just a single 45 physical damage.
Everything's pretty much been covered, but like thegiantturtle said, don't move while in the cloud and you'll take far less damage. There's also an "invisible" cloud that's still present a few seconds after you see the green disappear, so you have to watch out for that as well. Just waiting or teleporting out if you can is the way to go.
