leap attack?

what is wrong with this skill?
does any1 think it will work out as a PVP skill with the right EQ?

There's someone on these forums who's said they've had success with it at either mld or lld, can't remember which or who. Pretty hard to hit people with which is why it's not popular... compare to charge. It used to be way better iirc, you didn't have to land in attacking range more like 5 times that to hit your target, back in 1.08ish.

hmm...
is it two swings (if 2 weapons) or 1 swing?
and is it the AR that makes it hard to hit people? (cause the way i see it, it gets huge amounts of dmg already on lvl 20 L/LA)

and is it not hat to hit a jumping barb too... example: paladin making hammers... what shoud you do... go through them all, taking loads of dmg? NO: jump over them, and crush him!:grin:

I just dueled a lld leap attack barb , I've got to say he came about 50 life to 1 hitting my jacked out lld fury wolf. That kinda damage is crazy and rivals charge. The problem with build isnt the ar, but the skill itself is fairly easy to dodge.

I think it could turn out to be a alot of fun as a dueler lld or high. It's not what many would consider a top tier build but has 1hit ko potential for sure

Assumed no + skills (level 20)
Maxed Leap Attack+ leap and wep mastry at level 20 is about 993% enhanced damage and this is a 21% chance of critical.

For comparison
Maxed bezerk and syngery's + mastry is 778% magic damage


Pally's charge at 20

1135% damage and if using your maxed might you'd get another 230%
one could fairly easily get another 500% off maxing either Fanat or Conc with + to skills.

Those are some serious hurty numbers !

yeah.. just thinking... are you rooting for leap barb or charge pala? ;-P

whas thinking that with beat and last wish, the barb would pack a lot of dmg..

with Enigma, he would be running around like a rabbit

The thing is that you can go WW together with maxed leap attack (and synergy), sounds like fun.
And it would certainly add a surprise effect when you one hit kill someone with leapattack right after a ww.
