Merc auras and weps etc

My merc got a infinity and the lvl 12conviction aura but then if i give him andariels vissage does it go up to lvl 14 and with CoH to lvl 16 ? or dose it just stay the same all the time ?

(http://forums.diabloii.net/showthread.php?t=306061) The last couple headers for the stat tables are not aligned correctly, but you should be able to see which column is which.
