Shopping BO sticks?

whats all the places you can shop +2 bo weapons and whats types can you shop? also is there a lvl req? ty for input :D

Not sure what the level requirement is to be able to shop them, but I do know there is a level req for that. Use as high level char as you have available.

I think you can shop them almost anywhere on any weapon type that allows it (Check the build guides and FAQ sticky for Orphans list of prefixes and suffixes). I usually go to act 2, the merchant slightly to the left of the sewers entrance hatch. Then I just run back and forth from him into the sewer until he has what I seek.

... or you could pick up and ID all those crappy little rares that drop all the time and get a +2 to all weapon. I have a couple of +2 barb ancient swords I use for this purpose. They also have the bonus of taking up the least space.

The phrase BO sticks hails from people using a +2 barb club or spiked club to boost their skills while 'casting' BC, BO and Shout. In essence, these kind of clubs are just sticks, pieces of wood.
A club and a spiked club take the same amount of space as a ancient sword, without the requirements. But I too would use ancient swords on a exec barb if I had some +2 ancient swords lying around. Yum, stylish. :)

Afaik Clubs/Spiked Clubs can't spawn +2. I think the term stick was more of a random one... I remember reading a guide about using Hatchets for the least req. Not sure though.

I have at least 4 flanged maces/clubs/sticks dropped from Meph. All of which are +2Barb. Several +2Barb scimitars/etc as well. If you have a Glitch Sorc, it won't be long until you're swimming in them.

I don't even keep them unless they have huge twinking mods, and/or large dual resists that'd be useful for a popper barb to use in the cs.

maces, clubs, cudgels - hell last ladder I even had a +2 barb wirt's leg I imbued...

due to the reset, this is now on non-ladder, softcore east, and I believe that TinKnocker has it in his collection now, and/or in use on his BO barb

you can try shopping for +2barb swords at hell drognan
I see them from time to time with my level 87 pala and level 90 necro
I think lower levels can buy them too

they have like 27str/0dex req I think, but no additional mods (like res/cold dmg/etc)

any bo stick talking up only 1x3 inventory space, with low reqs, shouldn't be discarded. that's the only thing you need when looking for a bo stick for 90% of barbs

once you have 2, or 3 taking up space then there's no need to keep them. people rarely pay/trade anything for them and selling them for gambling gold is often more profitable than trying to xfer/hoard them on the odd chance that some brand new player got lucky enough to find a gull, or soj and not know the value and think he just has to have your bo stick cause he's never seen one before (e.g. infinitesimally low chance)
