Advanced Frenzy help!

Hello all.

So im currently re-making my frenzy barb and i cant seem to find what weapons to use.
The rest of my gear is pretty much set, so help me with my weapon choice.

Gear looks like this.

Guillaumes face socket 15ias/15all res
Highlords
Enigma pvm/ CoH Übbers
LoH gloves
Raven frost + rare dual leech ring with res.
Bugged europe belt.
Gore riders
2* eth Lacerators on switch for Amp.

torch/anni + 37 fine sc og vita.

Now, as you might have guessed im going for Amp dmg, that means that i dont want to use any items that cast other curses.

Should i use two perfect Grief Phaseblades combined with an act2 merc with either infinity or pride?

Or two perfect death Berserker axes combined with an act1 merc with faith?

Both setups reach 5fpa. Death setup has more DS/CB.
Grief setup has more pure dmg and less DS/CB

If anyone has an oppenion it would be great.:thumbsup:

Anyways, Death, hello?

Best offhand frenzy weapon imaginable (imo).

Grief plus death or beast plus death should yield extremely nice results.

So i would say a nice variation.

Damn, I aint helping you with weapon choice now....

Anyway...
Faith Merc good for general hell, but dies in ubers, so forget that idea.
Going the Amp damage curse requires you to go more safety oriented with weapon choice, because leech is so low in there.
And with that in mind, Id say ebotdz and edeathz, plus your going Lacerators anyway, which will benefit from axe mastery when casting amp.
Grief is good, but lets see how long you last without excessive potting.
If your confident (a.k.a ubered with a frenzier 20+ times) then a Griefz and edeathz will kill pretty fast, but your leech will be low, and this is where the crutch is, for an amp damage based uber frenzier.
Pride act 2merc kills slower than Infinity act 2 merc, I know, cause I tested both for a week.

BTW whats your life and DR% totals? I'm guessing 6500 and 28%...?

If you need something a bit safer

try using Lawbringer instead of the Lacerators on switch , you still get the Pi breaking goodness, more damage , plus slow, and enemies deal half the damage! how sweet is that?

your obviously well off , so My fav 2 weps on a Frenzy barb is

Grief pb and lastwish pb.

This way you can get rid of Gface and use a arreats. In the end you have more ar, more res and more skills for your bo and all the other passives. The Fade and life tap is very nice too. I know this isnt exactly what you were looking for but play with the numbers, there is alot to gain going this way.

If I had to pick your options I'd go 2 Grief pb and swap the gores for Goblintoes to pick up more cb. With Highlords and your Mastry the 10% loss of Deadly strike is marginal. Same with the ow. Being frenzy, it's not like you have to worry about slow run speed.

Ps take a look at duress armor for general pvm over enigma
and lastly , OMG!! what a belt!!

Thx for the great help guys. My ubber frenzyer is finished now and this is what i did. I really loved the idea of 2 x death weapons for pvm but allso had my mind set on using 2 x grief for ubber trist.

Ubber trist setup.

CoA socket Ber+Ber
High lords
2 x 400/40 Grief Pb
CoH
LoH
Bugged Belt
Raven frost + rare dual leech ring with 15% all res

Act 2 merc with eth andys face, CoH, Infinity Thresher.

This setup does ubber trist allmost as fast as my smiter.
The merc never dies and i could even prebuff me and my merc with fade.

PvM setup looks like this.

Guillaumes face socket 15/15 ias/all res
Highlords
2 x Perfect Death CS
Enigma Great Hauberk (for looks, Conan the babarian)
LoH
Arachnid
2* fcr/18str/mana rings.

Act 1 Merc with Faith, CoH, Eth Andys face.
