First, the Bone Spear question:

I've been told that Bone Spear has a physical damage part of it, so it does some physical and some magical damage. Is this true?

If that is true, then does Amplify Damage affect the physical part of the spear, doubling the damage it causes?

My Claw question:

What's the benefit of wearing two claw-class weapons on an Assassin, if you're not using the dual-claw mastery. Is it better to just use one claw and a shield then? I remember playing an Assassin once a long time ago, and I don't remember either weapon swinging any faster or anything.

Bonespear is 100% magical according to AS. And the synergy adds magic damage so I guess the physical part is ruled out. So Amp or Decrep wouldn't help adding damage.

Reasons for going dual claw: dual chance on having Assa mods on both hands, dual claw claw block, cool looks.

I think dual claws are much more used for non-trap Assasins since they want IAS ands stuff.

Dual Claws on a trapsin... find two claws with +2/3 to your traps. I've heard of people finding claws with things like +2 Trap, +2 Lightning Sentry, +2 Death Sentry all on one claw... Now double that on a dual claw setup. :-)

Nice.

Does increased attack speed effects work on both claws, or only one claw?

That's a good question...lol...
I'd go ask in the Assassin section of the forums....bound to be some more Assassin savvy people hanging around there...

-claw block can block everything but only reaches 55% wheras shield block can only block attacks with a physical damage component but reaches higher blocking chance (75%)
-claw block is affected by skill points and +skills, shield block is affected by dexterity, shield type and block modifiers on items
-claws can get automods of up to +3 to up 3 assassin skills so they're potentially better for prebuffing and trap damage
-some attack skills require 2 claws
