Pvp BVC Questions

Hey all,

Well Ive made a bvc barb based on the forum guide. Just had a couple of questions/things I wasn't sure if I agree on and want to know your opinions.

Guide says Highlords is the best amulet??? Surely Mara's is alot better? I can understand having highlords as a switch vs melee. but for general, what do ppl think?

Also it says put either 14 or 20 points in to leap (So you have atleast lvl 19leap with +items) - Is this many skill points really neccesary??? Would it not be better to put 1 skill here and the extra points go to natural res or shout?

Highlords also offers 20ias and deadly strike, its like 37% deadly strike or something at lvl 99, dont remember.
And the more points in leap increases its knockback radius.

1 other question aswell. the guide says life mod sc's are best. Im not gonna be able to afford many of these. so what would be better choice plain 20life sc's or warcry gc's with 30+ life??

Yes, highlords> maras for melee builds (most anyways)
I think lvl 16 leap has the radius of 1 full screen... not sure ask some barb expert...
And I have no idea about which charms are the best... I havent touched a barb in a long time...

Er.. why would you get warycry gcs on a bvc?
Charms: The most common charm setup is 37 Fine Small Charm of Vita. (32020). But there are other setups that can be utilized. A lot of people prefer a combination of Serpents Small Charm of Vita (20/17), Scintillating Small Charm of Vita or Balance. (20/5) and Steel Small Charm of Vita (36/20), along with the Fine Small Charm of Vita. On a Grief + Beast using BvC, max damage small charms will be more effective than pure Attack Rating charms because of the massive added damage. So in this case. 32020s will almost always be more effective than 36/20s.

It seems that max/ar/life is the choice

I think 14 gets the full screen and 20 gets a little more.
Your choice on that

I know but max/ar/life cost about 5hrs each. so thats hella hrs.

But next best option would be all vita charms?

life actually, vita charms suck...
life/ar and life/res, then plain lifers

maras is worthless for a bvc, + skills does nothing except buff bo but a +3wc does more, +5 atri also useless, and the res can be found elsewhere. highlords all the way.

i would 20 into leap for absurd radius unless u want to do shout or something.

maxed leap gives around 1 3/4 screen kb distance right?
