i use a combo of ar/lifers and max/ar/lifers. mostly because i can't afford max/ar/lifers en-masse.

i've also used mastery/lifers in the past and they are very good.

basically, once you hit 20k AR, you can stop chasing AR in huge quantities. go for damage instead.

mass 3/20/20s if u can afford them.

another option is max/ar/life which are cheaper than 320s, give more AR and 1 pt more maxdmg but much less life.
1*max/ar/life =10/76/45 vs
3*32020 = 9/60/60.

I thought antidotes were prohibited in bvb (although alot of people play with psn limits). Anyway a good poison barb delivers ~800 psn damage even with 85% res and it's hard enough to stack vs grief+anya bug in bvb gear, 2x deaths web on switch makes it worse hehe. You have to pretty much gulp antidotes after each hit to counter that. A random number of psn scs doesn't hurt nontheless if you ask me, they wont know if you use 1 or 8 so they'll get scared and use protection.

master/lifers are a nice alternative to 3/20/20s-especially if you use high defense ethreal armors.

on west NL (dunno about other realms) poison damage in BvB is seen as BM and most BvB's will gladly have 2+ rows of antidote pots in their belt when faced with a full-inventory-of-451pdsc built baba. not to mention quaffing ~10 mins worth of em before a duel (which is only 20 pots). and yes, chug 'em shamelessly whenever you get hit. it's not always necessary either. i've beaten plenty of poison barbs with regular gear and no 'dotes.

pdsc's just don't add up imho. they cost you a lot of life, a ton of AR and can be completely negated. max/ar/lifers (or ar/lifers or mastery/lifers) on the other hand, add useful stats which can't be nerfed. i'm actually contemplating gul'ing a spare arreats and keeping some 'treks on-hand for the occasions i run into poison barbs.

yes me too so hard to get though :(.

or even harder to get 10/76/45 with a couple 36/20 and rest 3/20/20 is what I would love to try. I'm doing some mfing and hopefully these will all drop tonight haha :jig: :jig:
