Spirit runeword

I'm building a hamerdin and am planning on use twin spirits (shield and weap) until i can get better.

I just found a 4 OS War Scepter w +1 Sancturay, +1 to Conversion, and 50% Damage to undead. Can the sppirit runeword be used in this weapon. My data sheet says it's for swords, but I've heard of folks using them in flails.....

Any help would be appreciated.

nope, spirit will only work in swords and shields

hoto will work in flail, but not scepters tho, sorry
