Barb pvp Advice

I would like to build a barb for pvp, but before i waste stat points i need some guidance.
I was thinking of a BvC, but i am not very good at namelock, have been practising but not getting any better:( (internet speed does not help).

I am not to intrested in "owning" games, but to hopefully win some duels.

Is a BvB viable?? After reading many guides and reading posts, i am thinking it is not and you very restricted.

If played well and built well i guess i would do well agaisnt other barbs(as the name suggests) but is that it??
Do casters just eat me up??

With this build my understanding is i put most points in strength, with max block.(plz correct if wrong)

This build would be better suited for me, not having to tele with major lag all the time, but is it worth it??

I have medium wealth due to mainly mfing all my time on d2, and rushing characters for hf, so i have or can get most items for either build.

It's not a guide i need here, i have read them, i just need advice from a BvB player as to what i can expect from such a build.

Newbie at pvp but I'm trying to learn. Went thru the better part of the strategy forums but I must have missed that part.

hello all i have been reading through the barb threads on this site for a month or so and just got the courage up to become a member so here goes with a really dumb question how and when and what is name lock?

Unsummon namelock is pretty simple actually. It just takes a little bit of practice, but you'll soon be doing it like second nature. Hotkey the tele, ww, and unsummon skills on right click. Switch to unsummon and right click on the person's name and continue to hold down right click. You'll notice that as long as you hold right click down, you'll have their name locked on your cursor no matter where you point it. While still holding right click, hotkey switch to tele and you'll tele right on top of the person, even if he or she is a screen away.

This is very useful against most casters. You can unsummon to namelock them, and then wait until they are out of your view, then switch to tele. From there, you can start your triangle whirls. Practice on a friend.

Woulden't it work for example with a namelock Mindblast cast -> Switch tele aswell? You loose out on the "screen away" part thou which probably is the whole point of it. I'll have to try it out some.

Sod it, think i will go all out bvb, not so many around, and if i need a tele character i will play sorc or pala...

maybe see some barb v barb euros soon...

bvb's are out there, they just tend to play in private games with other bvb's.

duel in some pubby bvb games (barb vs barb, barb vz barb etc) and put up with the endless procession of pallys, zons, trappers et. al. that will invade it and sooner or later, another bvb will come along and tell you about your realms "special secret sacred bvb game".

i know west NL has one.

all i played on nl west was BvB, But just to warn you BvB are very expensive to bild and to be any good they must be lvl 90+ msg me if ya want stats/skill/item help.
