Best Combat Move?

i have a sword weilding barbarian and im wondering which combat move would be the best?

im only lvl 16 just ending act 1, so i havent got anything fancy, jsut a gemmed 2 handed sword. but i cant decide which attack move to use

All of the attacks available to you at lvl 16 are prerequisites for others, so decide now which you want to use when your Barb is big and beefy. You can dump points into Double Swing without them being a waste if you focus on being a Frenzybarb. You can dump points into Concentrate without them really being a waste if you become a Whirly barb, as Concentrate is a nice secondary attack for that build. It has a damage synergy in Battle Orders, which almost every Barb will want to max out.

In general, you should be dumping your points into a Weapon Mastery and only putting single points into low lvl combat skills/prereqs at this stage.

i know this i am lvl 16 with 16 points into Sword Mastery but when im lvl 30 which one would be best Berserk, Whirlwind or Frenzy?

It's not as if stun is on a par with ww. D2 isn't well balanced for the most part, though in the case of barbs at least it's better than it used to be when ww dominated all other skills in killing power (see classic even in current patch).

I've been trying out optimal gear for the cookie-cutters and, given godly gear, I'd have to go with frenzy titanbarb as my favourite of the main 3 with an unlimited budget, followed by telezerk.

WW or zerk (latter with warcry) are probably the best bet playing untwinked or near untwinked.

Aussiefighter, if you want a real deamon-like-speedy frenzier, who walk around like a tansmanian devil and kills everything in a matter of seconds (with some decend weapons), choose the Frenzsy build. its VERY VERY Funny, you wont be dissapointed. Thats only if you want a different way, much faster moving than the classical zerk/ww build. Very cool imho. Also check this guide:
