After reading the forums I saw a statement that all unique rings have 1/31 chance to be sojs if that monster is capable of dropping them. On the other hand ATMA's drop calculator says exact values for soj drop possibility. Example - hell andy = 1/34xx if xxx mf is used.

So, is that drop calc wrong? And if so, why wouldn't it be a good idea to mf monsters who have high ring drop rate, because with huge mf u could get unique rings?

Both are right. The other states that if a unique rings drops its soj 1/31, if the monster that dropped it is of sufficient level to drop a soj.

What atma does is calculate the actual drop into its statistic. So in order to have a soj drop. First a ring has to drop. Then it has to be uniq and after that result its 1/31 to be a soj drop.

If you want an actual Soj drop then it is better to wear as much mf as possible. But if a traded soj is as good to you as self found then you are better of to glitch for rares and trade the soj.

i glitched a few sojs, i thought i got them pretty fast.

are you saying that i would get sojs faster if i had high mf+glitch? and i dont really like to trade because of all the poofers. :(

I'm not awere of duping in ladder atmo. Usually 4 sojs is all that is needed for personal use. If you trade your legit soj to a rare. The rare can as easily poof as traded soj. Whats stopping duper to dupe his rares?

Anyway, having more mf will get you more uniques = more uniq rings = 1/31 of them will be sojs in average = more sojs.
But thats not the original purpose of the glitcher. However u can do what you want. Glitcher's strenght is the fact that usually drops only rares.

Indeed in LoD, NM Andy has a very good chance of dropping a SoJ.
Classic players are often mislead by this information, since, contrary to the LoD NM Andy, Classic NM Andy cannot drop a SoJ.
