HISTORY:

I found this during the Mephathon on or about November 27. I did not take a screenshot because a.) it would prove little; and b.) I assumed it was junk (aka crafting fodder.) I will, however, take a screenshot of the identified jewel upon request. I play 1.11 SC RRM/RWM as stated in the title.

RULES {please read them all}:

1. Auction starts now (the 7th of January) and will end on This auction will now run until January 19, 2008, at midnight (Eastern Standard Time). I will provide a 24 hour warning.
2. Obviously, I will not trade with anybody I don't deem entirely trustworthy.
3. You may only bid on this item if you are not on New Trader Probation Period
4. Minimum bid is 3 items from my ISO (but feel free to include things that aren't :grin: )

To give you a general idea of what jewels like this are worth, here’s one instance (http://forums.diabloii.net/showthread.php?t=552359), and here’s another (http://forums.diabloii.net/showpost.php?p=5910068&postcount=41). Yes, there’s quite a difference between the two, so pricing this thing is a little hard.

ISO (In a rough order of priority):

- Griffon's Eye
- Lightning facets
- Lightning skillers (plain is fine, secondary mods of course are welcome)
- Caster amulet with 10% FCR and +sorceress or +lightning skills
- Rare/crafted/magical gloves with +2 or +3 Javelin and Spear skills and 20% IAS (please note that rares and crafted cannot get the +3 prefix, only magical can.
- Runes: Lem and higher
- Any elite set/unique missing from my Flavie (http://www.chrisclarke.co.uk/D2stuff/PDFs/swiller_flavie.html).


I would like to mention, however, that for some reason my Flavie isn't listing some common stuff like Angelic Sickle or General's Tan Do Li Ga. If it's a common item and you don't see it on my Flavie, trust me, I do have it. It's just not showing up on the list. Also, I would like to thank Thyiad for hosting it. :thumbsup:

I've had this too - delete *.TXT file(s) in your save folder (and subfolders), and regenerate the report.

(My guess is that Windows/ATMA sometimes doesn't release it's handle on the files, so Flavie can't gain write-access to the files, and therefore the newly generated files can't be saved. I blame Windows and Durf.)

Okay everyone, I just want to state a few things that probably should have gone in the original post.

Because my ISO is pretty broad and the auction is without minimum bid increments, I foresee that there could be difficulties in determining exactly which bid is higher. If there's a situation where two bids are similar and "fighting" for first place, I'll choose whichever one better meets my ISO. Keep in mind that my ISO list is in order of priority from top to bottom.

I really hope this doesn't cause a problem for anybody, because I truly do believe in being fair and honorable, even if it's only trading items in a videogame.

I know exactly what you mean swiller and sirpoops about having an item worthy of such jewels. I often wonder how much more my 40/15 jewel is worth more than the weapon it is socketed in.

One thing I'd like to suggest to the eventual winner. After I gained my 40/15 jewel, I then posted a trade thread looking for the best item to put it in, a perfect 130% ed schaefers, which I didn't quite get, 129% in real world terms makes very little difference, but this was a further "expense" to keep in mind for an upgrade trade.
You won't do a jewel like that any justice if you don't stick it into a perfect or near perfect item.

I had to trade up to get that nice-ish Ghostflame for my dagger-frenzier. I highly recommend one with that and a Fleshripper. Barbs looks pretty psychotic with dual daggers. :cool:

I haven't looked at the stash yet, but I trust it's all there. I replied with the Ruby Jewel of Fervor. I also gift-wrapped it and stuck a red bow on it just for good measure. :smiley:

Hey, like I said earlier, I am still very pleased without the Griffon's. You helped complete both Aldur's and Trang Oul sets, so I can finally continue with my set
septemvirate. And I'm thinking about doing a frenzy barb that wears both the Disciple and Bul-Kathos sets. So thanks for helping me (finally) getting a hold of that sword.
