View Full Version : I'm looking for some old diablo 2 stories
I've been searching for the last 1.5 hours for a diablo 2 story about a peace necromancer who didn't want to kill anything else than what he ultimately had to.
I think the authors name is Jerico, and I belive he has also written stories about a mage barb, using trang oul equipment, and a melee enchant sorc, using a delerium helm for confuse.
If anyone have a link to his story about the peace necromancer I'd really appreciate it.
I've tried to look at tdl. via web.archieve, but without luck, the same goes for google, and this site in generel.
Thank you in advance.
Kind Regards.

Welcome to the Fan Fiction Forum, Krim.
If I understand your request correctly, you're looking for an account of how someone played a character through Diablo II, which is something that does not get posted in the Fan Fiction Forum or on The Dark Library. If it was done in Single Player, you could try asking around the Single Player Forum for it, and they've seen many crazy builds like this work in any case. While it may not be the particular one you want, I think a fellow named MongoJerry did run a pacifist Necromancer through the game, though I can't seem to find a thread relating to that. Some of the old guard may know, though. Best of luck with your search.

The author's name is Mongojerry. He wrote a diabloii.net guest column about Maldar the pacifist necro and other articles about very interesting characters.
Here (http://www.diabloii.net/columnists/a-irene1.shtml) is a link to his story about Irene the punching sorceress. That page contains links to the necro story and others.
Thank you for your kind welcomming.
That is exactly the story I was searching, thank you very much! I guess my search / google skills aren't very good, hehe, though I'd the autors name wrong, you can still get very frustated about the results you get via google. I's almost certain it was long gone.
So just out of curiosity, how long did it take you to find it?
Again I thank both of you, have a good evening.
Kind Regards.

Hardly any time at all, but then I knew where to look. Ironically, it took longer to locate through the diabloii.net guest columnists list than it did to google.
Have fun.
This story was truely magnificient! Very exciting, and very well written.
For a long time ago (several years) I'd decided to read it, though today for some reason I remembered I never got to do that, but now I've, and it's really a shame that MongoJerry doesn't write for this community anymore. However I'm certain that many other are following his steps, and are also producing great stories of adventures, and the like.
I'd just wish I'd remembered the authors name, so I wouldn't have used so much time looking for it  well thanks again, to both of you, and of course also to the auther for his great story.
Kind regards.

Stony wrote the Grand Tour of d2x, seven tales of characters adventuring through the game. Pretty good stuff.
Most of them have been wiped from the Single Player Forum by crashes, but they are preserved here (http://d2x.home.comcast.net/~d2x/GrandTour/GrandTour.htm).
Have fun!
