Lots of baal runs, eh?

while I'm not on the asian realm, nor do I care to be, I'm guessing that if it was exclusively the case, that it would have happened a long time ago.

wasn't the first 99 on xpac within the first month or so of the reset?

this of course all assuming that the xp is dished out identically from xpac to classic given that they're fundamentally the same 'core' engine?

I think Slik's right on the money tbh.

Don't forget xpac has anni, ondals, a greater population and faster killing with more safety.

understood. that being said my classic built, converted hammer din didn't have a problem at all killing/contributing in baal runs when I was curious what the fuss was about back in August just before I quit (and subsequently came back)

so too, I rarely saw hammerdins die to "lister" or w/e his name is, last season when I was mephy glitching in public baal runs on classic. *shrug*

my only curiousity re: that cLvl is what the gambling must be like :laugh:

You took off your Iratha's and took up Hotspurs ? Or you secretly have a Tannr Gorerod fetish we should know about ? :)
(Don't know if the Tannr Gorerod has the same name in your version, it's that unique pike)

I'll stick with my belief that he got there legitimately.

the funny part in that, is that my current ladder din is wearing full irathras and hotspurs :shocked:

a +2 +3bh sceptre, couple of fcr dual-res rings, and a pretty nice dual rez -req high def fhr mage plate lr/fr both approaching 3x, and a +2 priz/pdia bone shield

the hammers are painfully slow, but I can typically hammerlock the front of infector's crew, and easily tank his crony's fire even without a bo

I think he might be on USwest. Anyway, just a few days ago I checked the ladder, there was one level 99. I've seen the prefix HFC- on a fair few of characters high up on ladder, don't know how he got this, other than doing Baal runs with other characters loaded into the same game...

don't undestrend this topic... HFC, you bit this level on classic or lod ??? if classic it's sux because you must use act 5 bug/hack to enter for baal runs... if lod IMO it's not big particular because level 99 on lod sc/hc is easy too bit IMO... i have 3 chars on last lod ladder with level 99 and exp to level 99 one char take me ~4 months... in classic level 99 is few years...

1 post doesn't mean a thing, I'm as well up on the ladder you could say, among hfcs and AX's but I've seen them in a5 before.

you felt compelled to register/join/post in this thread.

your reasons are your own - the common perception will be that it was jealousy/cry/trolling.

as everyone already stated, surmised, and speculated there would appear to be no doubt that some a5 took place.

if I recall correctly, last ladder, hfc had a din at level 96 before the a5 exploit took place. he's been around a while, and presumabley contributed to the forum, and/or its members.

should you choose to do so too, then great. if not, no big deal either.

*Shrug* regardless, it's a game. if he's proud of it, go him. everything of this world fades away eventually - no reason for everyone to get their panties in a bunch.

Although i dont like the act 5 hack, i still think lvl 99 takes some major effort, and i would like to congrats HFC.

The difference between me and HFC is i have a full time job, he does not, hes 35 and sits and plays d2 all day.

and btw, HFC was legit on asia or euro or w/e with his 96, but when baal came around he made a west char and got it to 99 with baal hack.

Fine, you have an oppinion about HFC. There are better ways to express that oppinion.

I'm an avid west HCCL player (or was about a month ago, I moved to EHCCL recently)

Anyways, I'm Carnivale (12th or so on ladder now, was 7th when I quit) and we all baaled.

ABSOLUTELY EVERYONE ON THE FIRST PAGE OF THE TOP LADDER IS A BAALER EXCEPT FOR NUMBERS #13, 14 and possibly a few others that I don't know.

Pipe baals.
Carnivale baals (I baaled with pipe).
HFC baaled to 97, DIED, then was back up to 95 in like 2 DAYS. That is IMPOSSIBLE on HCCL without baaling. Now he continued to baal to 99.
Every member of olo has glitch baaled at some point or another.

Don't congratulate him, don't congratulate any of us.

But it is a game after all. And yes, wasting your life glitch baaling on classic takes a considerable amount of effort, too...:/

I, for one, hate baaling. I only did it to see what it was about. Stopped at around 91.

My old characters were all chaosed...it's more fun.
