Edge Runeword

In my time playing, I have witnessed an ambition in myself to possess an Edge bow, for its attractive attributes and so forth, and thus set out to create it with the common runes Tir+Tal+Amn, and a 3 socketed bow.
However, upon completing the task of placing the runes within it in the proper order, I did not recieve the Edge Bow, but rather a gemmed bow, as seen in the link of the graphic below. Thus I am to ask, o my brothers, what it was that I did so horribly wrong as to not create, with two tries the Edge bow I desire? As a note, I am playing in US West and nonadder, if its all the same.

The problem is that some runewords are Ladder Only, thus as you're on non-ladder you can't make that runeword.

Edit: taken from arreat summit; "The following Rune Words will only work on the Battle.net Realms for Ladder Characters only. They will not work for single or open characters or non-ladder characters "

If you happen to playing Single Player, simply use PlugY in order to experience such Runewords - among other Ladder-only events and items.

go to the sp forums and use the runeword mod to allow ladder only runewords
