You could craft a caster helm, ML is one of it's fixed mods.

Caster Helm Magic Mask/Death Mask/Demonhead Mask
Nef Rune
Perfect Amethyst
Any Jewel
(1-4)% Mana Stolen Per Hit
Regenerate Mana (4-10)%
+ (10-20) To Mana

3 rings "Magic" aka "blue" = 1 ammy
3 ammys = 1 ring

Item level has a bit to do with it, but 4% ML is a very low mod on a ring. Now, odds are you wont get some awesome ring, but no Maneld has ever been praised for being Godly since it was Classic only and those got replaced fast by dual stat rares.

Matter of fact, I am willing to bet for a few PGems just about anyone coudl get you a ML ring of some sort whether rare/magic/Maneld!

Second the 'Craft a Caster Helm' idea. You get some nice fixed mods, and you may even get lucky and have some other great mods thrown in.

Crafting is WAY under-rated as far as I'm concerned.

IMO you should just beg/ask nicely for it. I'm sure someone will give you one for free and it wont take long at all. That's what I'd do anyway :grin: .

Lol, yeah.. Dane, a good friend of mine, saw me mfing some games.. came in and says "what you looking for?" Turns out he had like 6 manalds for this exact purpose.. Now I can almost freezing arrow all the time without worrying about mana. Except in NM, I guess the phys resistance the mobs have really inhibits my leaching :(

People keep trying to give me insights too.. they dont seem to understand my desire for a baba merc.

Did you know that the Ai for the baba merc is actually better? Did you know that they get way higher attack speeds? Did you know that their +replenish life is insanely high? (I put skin of a flayed one on him -- +23 replenish, 7%ll, 400def -- and removed his weapon... he tanked NM andy at level 48 just because she regenned all the health back from poison damage!) Did you know that they are way more aggressive? (They actively seek out enemies way past an 800x600 screen... sometimes beowulf beelines straight up.. I keep thinking "wtf wheres he going"... by the time I get there, theres dead bodies all over.) Did you know that with +barb skills that actually do different melee attacks? (much like a1 rogues, with +6 total barb skills on my barb he was using CONC)
