Where to go with an Abbot build

Hi all just working up an abbot have prayer maxed and a few points in clensing (which i now regret-but oh well). End game I plan on using Prayer merc with cv insight and a plague axe on the abbot. However, I haven't the foggiest idea of what combat skill to choose for him. Something complimentary to an abbot build.

Maybe Fist of Heavens, with synergies. This seems to match the theme.And you'll have Holy Bolt to heal people, with Prayer as synergy. A point in Conversion will be helpful as well.

Since as an abbott you want high resists to go with your damage reduction and life regeneration, one way is to max resist lightning, cold, and fire for the +10 max resists which makes Vengeance a prime candidate even if only one hard point goes into it all of it's synergies are maxed anyways

Thanks Ed from Russia, I thought about that but I think the synergies are a bit off and for best effect you almost need to dedicate a build for FoH.

thanks to you as well, I was thinking along those lines as well. Was just trying to avoid being a cookiecutter.
