I want to build a godly smiter pally, intended for use against ubers and other players, nothing else. If someone could please tell me the best possible gear setup and how i should use my stat and skill points, i would be extremely grateful.

Grief zerk/ phase blade i personally like zerk
hoz upped if gm, vortex eth 45 res exile if bm =D
dungos
bk ring/ dwarf and 1 raven frost for cannot be frozen
gore riders
dracs or bloodfist for life and fhr

charms:

anni/ptorch/pcomb gcs or vita scs

remember to hit fhr breakpoints and achieve full res

If you use zerker grief and its not 40 ias roll, you need more than 10 ias from other gear to hit last smite breakpoint. I'd take mara's over highlord too, so your only choice to get the ias from is gloves. Look for some 20 ias / str / dex / ress gloves.

I'd take treks or waterwalks over gores. Defense on eth treks is really nice, fhr and str can't hurt either. Waterwalks have 15 dex, 65 boable life.

Enough str to wear coa, enough dex for max blocks with holyshield, rest into vitality.

Both of those setups seem like they're more for PvP as opposed to running Ubers (due to the lack of Crushing Blow and stacked resists/IAS).

Here is my favourite Smiter setup for running Ubers (not so much intended for PvP, however. :P):

Grief Phase Blade (Any IAS),
Guillaume's Face (w/ IAS Jewel),
Chains of Honour Archon Plate (Or whatever armor you want),
Exile Ethereal Sacred Targe (Or any elite Paladin shield. Also doesn't have to be ethereal, but being so gives more defense),
Verdungo's Hearty Cord/Thundergod's Vigor/Whatever you want,
Laying of Hands (Or any gloves with 10 - 20 IAS, depending on your Grief),
Gore Rider (For Open Wounds and more CB),
Mara's Kaleidoscope,
Raven Frost + Whatever you want,
Torch and Anni charms.

Highlights:

~7,000 Smite damage,
Maxed attack speed without Fanaticism,
180 - 210 total resists normally (assuming a base 45 resist shield),
~275 - 305 total resists with Salvation,
50% CB,
550% extra damage to Demons

I also thought of using Treachery to precast Fade then switching to Fortitude. You'd have even more resists, almost guaranteeing 75% vs Meph, up to 30% DR with Verdungo's and an extra 300% more damage to every thing.
