Hi i just bought diablo 2 and wanted to join europe servers. it says something: "Unable to connect to battle.net
if using a modem, you may need to connect to your internet service provider before connecting to battle.net" What that even means?? But i can join to other realms (Asia, U.S West and U.S East) could someone help please :sad2:
I am having the same problem and are a old player. ...
But i cant connect to any realm... y try each, and using a proxy see battle.net site is down
i'm having same problem but i can connect to other servers just not us east. really pissing me off.....

i have the same problem i use westell modem for dsl. cant connect to ne realms. you can try port forwarding at portforward.com but i did it and it did not solve the problem.
My problem was some differnt.. no space in my 160 GB hard disk =P

I did that when you posted and it didn't solve the problem. I wasn't able to download the software thats there though because it could not find the page for the link.
There isnt any software. Its a link to instructions. You follow the instructions.
Bring up your start menu. Hit run. Type Regedit. Hit return. Follow instructions on page.

yeah i know i went to the page and followed the instructions and it didnt solve it. at the top of the page however, there is a link to software that fixes it for u but i couldnt use it. either way the instructions have the same effect if im not mistaken. i followed them but to no avail :cry:
