What else do i need for my Nova/Infinity sorc

Ok well i started a Nova/Infinity sorc not too long ago and she is pretty much finished in my eyes but dont know if i built her wrong or if there is anything im missing on her

Her equipment is Arachnid Mesh, Skin of the Viper Magi (not upped socketed with a 15 res 7 fhr jewel), Sandstorm Trek +15 str +15 vit, Griffons Eye -20% Enemy Lightning Resist +15% Lightning Damage (socketed with a 15 res 7 fhr jewel), 2 sojs, Infinity Voulge -55 Res, Fletch, Magefist, 9 lightning gcs (4 with 12% fhr rest with crappy mods working on getting lifers), Torch, Anni, and 10 20 life scs.

Her skills is where im having issues :scratch: i maxed Telekinesis, Nova, Lightning Mastery, and Energy Shield but dont know where i should put the rest of my points. Should i put them in t-storm or warmth? With t-storm im doing more dmg with that but with max warmth im regenerating mana for my Energy Shield much faster because i dont want to always have to rely on a merc insight for that in PvM.

Id really appriciate any comments good or bad let me know what you think. :thumbsup:

Some optional/recommended are the shiver/chilling armors (Can be prebuffed with snowclash or a staff)
T-storm under conviction indeed deals quite the damage while warmth as you said, gives a faster regen. Even with insight on your merc, spamming nova will deplete your mana sooner or later :P I vote t-storm if pvp, warmth if pvm

I'd assume PvM unless otherwise noted. Nice equips though, I plan on starting a CL/FO over Christmas break, and I wish I was pimped out as that. :hanky:

haha thankyou....and ummm i was thinking on if it should b pvm or pvp and ill prob make it pvp because if i am in pvm i can just revive my merc i mean after all 50k isnt that much money plus the +1 to warmth and the rest of my gear it should b high enough to help....so most likely she is going to be strictly pvp unless something happens to my h-din which is my main pvm char :shocked:

It all looks really nice, but myself, I would substitute that fhr/allres for a fhr/poison res jewel because poison resistances are the only ones you really need.

thank you lol yea i was worred bout poison res myself :undecided: but if i do throw those in there ill be missing out on ele res and more ppl in pvp will be using other eles than poison till i run into a nova necro :wink3: lol

The thing about poison and other elements is that poison bypasses energy shield. Usually you will run out of mana before you run out of life, and only the damage your life takes is affected by the amount of resistance you have.

Poison and open wounds just directly goes to your health pool.

ok well my nova sorc is 100% done and she sucks more c0ck than my ex girlfriend can some1 please explain to me why? my gear is perfect except my viper magi isnt upped which wouldnt make this huge of a difference, my stats are perfect, and my skills are perfect...do nova sorcs just really suck that much?

I've rushed and chaosed an 8 player game with mine, so there's probably a mistake somewhere.

Is your mercenary using insight to increase your mana replenish rate?

What level energy shield do you have?

How much mana/life do you have?

How many hard points in telekinesis do you have?

What seems to make her suck so badly, her kill speed or her survivability?

What potions do you keep in your belt?

Remember, a nova sorc won't kill as fast as a hammerdin or a lightning sorc. So don't expect her to destroy everything pvm within a few seconds. Just keep spamming, with your merc's insight should keep your mana up :smiley:

i would 100% sure go for warmth and not TS.
Even in pvp more mana regen is better than a bit more dmg from TS.
