Frozen armor or ES?

Which of the two is better for putting one skill point into?

ES requires 21+ skill points to be useful.

1 or more in Energy Shield
20 in Telekinesis
then the prerequisites.

You're better off getting a staff with +Frozen/Shiver/Chilling Armor on switch, or not using any at all.

Okay then, but I sort of have a fixation with defensive spells, so I guess I'll just go with frozen armor. Besides, all the + skill items I'll have by the time I'm done with my (pure lightning) build will most likely be enough to get some good use out of it.

the problem with ES is that you need to spend the skill points into telekinesis - a bunch of +skills will not help, at all. Eilo is correct.

So, a point in FA is a much better one-point wonder.
