Is there a guide on Light sorc + ES for mfing..?

Hello all

Yeah, Later in my life, im thinking about making one. So is there a guide on a normal llight sorc, but with ES too? Should I just simply put 1 point in ES and....telekinesis too?

Also if i go ES route, I wont need MB right, I put all the points in mana or vita?

Don't get ES for mf.
If you must get ES then get it to level 40 (which is cap limit) with 20 in telekinesis. Rest goes into lightning and its syns.

I remember I had an es light sorc mfer and it was pretty bad because of all the random mana burning monsters, i died instantly despite the godly gear.

Yeah for ES you need so in Telekinesis, otherwise it's a waste of a skill point in ES in the first place. That's 20+ skill points less that you'll have for Lightning synergies, thus less damage. A single element Sorceress needs as much damage as she can muster in PvM to deal with LI's broken by Infinity.

If you get some -enemy lightning res you shouldn't suffer that much from the loss of one synergy. You should be able to get your damage up to around 10000 Chain Lightning and that would suffice. Max telek, CL, Mastery and Lightning/Charged bolt (which ever you find most usefull - I like CB since it's an awsome bosskiller!) and put the remainder of your points in what ever synergy you have left. IF you get enigma you will be able to use spirit with a very small str investment and the 14 life/kill will work just like leech. Put 2 points in energy for every point invested in vita. Get infinity on your merc, at least one soj, a CTA on switch and try to get to the 117 FCR break point, ideally using Crescent moon, but that will take some really specific gear, otherwise, a HOTO is much better than Escutas temper. With a one point energy shield you shouldn't have to much trouble getting it up to 75% absorb, and with 30 res all you will be invincible, as long as you get you poison res maxed - I love this MF sorc!

Occu+Spirit
Rare amu with FCR, res and MF (no skills)
Natures ring and a SOJ (natures for nihl running and the poison res)
CTA6+spirit on switch

5 Lightning skiller, Storch, anni and a 39MF Gheeds, I also have few 7 mf charms and a 5 res@ sc.

note that this will only get me to the 78 FCR bp and I have no -enemy res except the infinity so I'm a bit slow against broken lightning immunes (like the archers in the pits), but I still do damage to them, and my merc pokes them hard too. If you can afford it, get a griffos instead of shako, I know I cant, but if I could I would, any day of the week ;)

My litesorc remake will be a ES one aswell! I saw Avantors in action, and god, it was awesome! The dmg lose was about nothing with chainlightning, but pretty much with lightning, but remember it was the max dmg so i don't really think it's that much of a difference in killing speed. And hey, ES makes you a lot more survivable, so thats what i'm going for!
