Lookin for some suggestions on kicker weapons, both weapon/shield combo and C/C combos are welcome. Also, does range on the weapon affect ur kick range? If so, is the range really important?

The Kicker Guides cover it pretty well, make sure you check the updated versions and posts I can't say more without knowing what Kick Skill you use really. Second Claw does not have any effect on damage and as far as shields although the OW on Swordback Hold will effect it people don't seem to use it, preferring Stormshield, Range is not effected but the Speed is, so depending what skills you use WSM & ISA on the main claw can make a lot of difference.

Ahh, maybe I should be a little more specific. I plan to use Dflight and Dtalon. If the range of the kick isnt affected by the range of the weapon, what's the range of Dtalon and Dflight? Or are they all the same? There doesnt seem to be many good main hand claws, other than fury/chaos/bartucs, and the only good secondary claw would probably be jade talon. Maybe there are some good weapon/shield combos?

CtC static is also handy, whether it be from CM or Stormlash.

I'm about to make a kick sin using a stormlash I found a few weeks ago with a storm shield for max block. Last kick sin I made used an um'ed fleshripper, first time I ever used one I was very impressed.

CTC is what the DTalon and Blade skills work best with, you hit fast and often but the base damage is low.
The trick is Static & Crushing Blow = the best damage in the game and the only things that really bring down the life of ubers.
Static is a 1 item applied like Crescent Moon or Stormlash, A Claw with the good cheap Runeword Strength or a 1 handed Black Runeword on the other hand adds good CB and will stack with other CB items [G-Face Set Helm, G-Toe Boots (for the CB not the Base damage) Rattlecage on the cheap side, Upped Gores, and Duress Armor in the more expensive side] to Apply every hit, Now all you need is AR :-)
For the other hand use Jade Talon for Resists and Claw Block if you use claws or Shield Choices are a swordback hold for its 50% OW or block and DR like Stormshield or Trimats revenge for the CTC and Damage mods or just a good block/skills MF one are other choices.
Under the current way things work I recommend a Kicker not use Claws and save the points in CM and WB for Venom and Fade supplement with DS and other traps and ... Well you can read the Guides to get the rest.
Oh yeah The Last Wish runeword is really nice but a BIT on the pricey side and thats a understatement.

If your PVP the only good choices are a Ghost or a Trapper really, A trapper can be a kick Hybrid but Kicker is not really PVP alone, most have either Pure Traps or Traps + WW, Dragon Flight has a slow animation and will get you killed, you need enigma or a TP charge item mostly though a fast BoS runner can skip it. Unless you LLD?
Edit - just checked it for you they have some newer kicker PVP guides

Hmm, the closest to what I have in mind would probably be The Fast-cast WW/Kick/Stun Assassin, but I plan to use a bow switch instead of ww. I wanted to have a range attack that is effective and isnt absorbable. Dflight is mainly used to deal a good blow to those speedy chars(zons, sorcs) to force them to play offensively rather than running away. I'd rather not get into a ghost type, as it requires a huge selection of fools/chaos claws, which is definately outta my budget, and its regular equipment is pretty expensive as well. However, I still dont know if the bow switch is gonna be effective(widow um'ed+max venom with trangs and hopefully bramble).

Ohhh, some good analysis there, ty. But since I dont really intend to carry a huge # of switches, what would be a better main weap? Um'ed fleshie or 3x um'ed AgtoQ? I'll probably use fade as main aura and maybe a sanc troll nest as main shield so I don't need a wiz for switch. Basically I'm lookin for a general w/s and c/c setup for general pubbing.

Sanctuary is kinda horrible imo. If you are using w/s you are using it for Stormshield most of the time, because you want the fbr/dr.
vs most casters c/c usually works better.

If you want one setup without switching, Um'd fleshripper/SS. Or Dweb/SS if you do a lot of pubbing.
c/c is more effective against a lot of casters but you will get picked on and stomped by anything carrying a grief. Unless you hybridize or something, but thats a different topic. If you seriously think you will only duel casters, consider a pure c/c build. If you want to kvk or duel vs all, you need w/s block.
