can anyone help a noob out?

This is my very first time playing an assassin so I'm a complete noob. Basically I was wondering whether anyone could suggest a good and fairly easy guide that would help me start out. Thanks.

Since this is my very first time playing for an assassin I have absolutely no idea which of the two I'd prefer. Whichever is easier to get started with I suppose.

I played a LS/DS trapper and different kinds of martial art sins untwinked and all were fun.

the easiest is probably the trapper since you can stay out of trouble most of the time and attack with ranged attacks, supported by crowd control spells like MB and CoS.
There is a nice guide on this site by jrichard or so. check the guide section, try singleplayer forum guides as well.

Agreed, LS/DS/fire blast trapper is easy to play, safe, and kills fast with just shopped claws.
