Is this viable?

Ok, first off, im a begginer when it comes to Sorcs. Recently i felt like using Glacial Spike to freeze mobs and then use Blizzard/Firewall/Fireball on them. Ive seen some Blizzard/Fireball and Blizzard/Firewall guides, but not exactly what i want to play.
Is the below setup viable? I am concerned about survivability and damage

20 Glacial Spike - fast cast spell #1
20 Blizzard - delay spell #1
1 Cold Mastery

20 Fireball - fast cast spell #2
20 Firewall - delay spell #2
1 Fire Mastery

1 Pre-reqs
1 One-point-wonders

If your mainly concerned about dmg, whats your dmg with blizz and fireball?

I'm pretty sure it's viable. But I think going Fire Wall/Fire Ball is a waste, since those spells don't synergize each other. For the fire side of things, you should go with either Fire Ball/Meteor (two synergized spells) or Fire Wall alone (more points for masteries or Blizzard synergies).

I'm using the Fire Wall variant of this build in single player. Seems pretty good so far. I'm at Act 5 nightmare now.

You don't really need Fire Ball, seeing as Fire Wall is viable on its own.

yep - spend those fireball points into Fire Mastery or a Blizzard synergy and you'll really spank things. With your current build you'll just kill them. spanking > killing. :grin:
