View Full Version : How good are metaorb sorc in hell

Hi

Im building a metaorb sorc, and im lvl 38 now, and im not very impressed by it.

How will it do in hell, im mainly planning to key run whit her, but how will she do in act5 and nithalak? I will have about 7 in all skill and 1+ to fire. Will i have to low dmg to do anything effeciently in hell? Im mouse worried about orb beeing too weak.

And since im gona keyrun whit her, is there maybe some other sorc builds that is better? I rempember what imunes and resistance the bosses and monsters at the bosses got, other than fire is out thanks to countess.

Not impressed? You haven't been putting every single point in orb (from lvl 30 and on), did you. Orb is simply 1 of the fastest killer in NM.

The damage of the sorc in hell is respectable, even though it might be a little slow in say 8 player games. Because it's dual element, it can run just about any place. Nithalak is probably the one and only place I wouldn't run with her though (or with any sorc for that matter). They simply have too little life to survive CE's, and the bugged vipers are scary...... Countess on the other hand is easy, as any half useful merc can easily kill her once her minions are disposed of.

I've got mine to lvl77 and I can say that I'm pretty happy with mine so far. Orb takes care of any norm or nm stuff.

I run for tkeys quite often, and never have any issues. Orb the fire immune, fireball the rest. Pretty cut and dry. My merc takes out the countess.

the hell countess was cold + fire immune for me, though...

like said, it is every time. My merc kills her, i kill everything around her.
