*Seriously Intense Problem*

Okay, so first off Hi! ... now that thats done.. lets get to business :tongue:

Whenever I try to join/create a game in diablo 2 it never says failed to join, but what happens is my whole d2 lod shutsdown and goes to desktop and then this nifty little error shows...everytime :shocked: !!

I need to know how to fix so I can join games!!1

Hmmm, just by seeing that screenshot no one here can really help, because we don't know what's causing the game to crash. It could be caused by a number of different things.

So:

What OS do you have?

What are your PC's specs?

Are you running a store bought copy of the game, bought in a sealed box?

Are you using any third party programs?

What else is running in the background?

Anything else you can tell us?

First thing I'd try is a complete uninstall and reinstall.

By Os I think you mean Operating System so, I have a nvidia something rather... I got it custom made...

The only 3rd party program I have is a maphack, and it isnt used all the time and this problem happens all the time.

Yes, my game is store bought it was sealed, its all legit.

Other background stuff would be avg...
gamedrive.. all that stuff.

Maphack = cheating, and you likely downloaded a virus or some other nasty program along with it.

Uninstall the game, get rid of the hacks, do a virus scan and maybe it will work.

Legit Hack, scanned a million times on different scanners, Tons! and I mean TONS!!1 of people use this maphack and its yeah totally legit as I already said, so... im steering toward connection problem? My internets fine but like what else is there...

Map Hack is not a legitimate program. It is a hack that is against the Terms of the EULA.

I'm sorry you feel unable to play the game without MH.

It's a download. You don't know what is in it. You will not receive help while you have it installed.

Using hacks precludes you from trade on this forum.

There's no such thing as a legit hack. A hack is a cheat and therefore not legit.

Maphack gives those using in an unfair advantage over those that play the game without it. As Thyiad said, it's also against both the TOA and the EULA. Blizzard can and will ban your playing account and CDKey for using maphack.

Also, since maphack is a cheat, we do not allow or support the discussion of where to get it, how to use it, nor do we allow it to be pushed or advertised. Asking for maphack here, suggesting that someone should use it or linking to it or any site that hosts maphack or anyother form of cheat is a bannable offense. If someone uses our trade forums and is found to be using maphack, they will be banned with no warning and no questions asked.

I'll say again, maphack is a cheat, it does not matter who uses it or how many servers or whatever.
