View Full Version : Has this ever happened to you guys before?
I was hosting NM Baalruns for two buddies with my meteorb, merrily tele-ing to the Throne when I encountered the IM casting OK jerks in WSK3, iirc, who cast Weaken on me...some nearby Hell Temptresses also cast Amp Dmg on me and without noticing until i had tp-ed back to town (both monster types were present in the Throne as well so it could have happened there) the two curses had stacked! The Hell Temptress version of the Amplify Damage curse (even though it looks the same as the necro version) had been added to Weaken! As I went to take a screenie (as it looked funky!) the Amp timed out so I ran to Malah to get rid of the Weaken and it wouldn't dissapear! I asked my budz if they could see the Weaken graphic above my head and they said no! It only dissapeared when I left the game...weird eh?
Never saw that happen, but I'm hardly surprised. This game is a hive of bugs, and some of them manifest themselves oh so rarely. Must make debugging fun for the Blizzard engineers.
My weird experience - happened last Ladder - was when I managed to die in town. I'd just killed Pindleskin and returned through the red portal, and noticed my health disappearing rapidly. I try to run to Malah and die on the way. Never had that happen before, never since.
Yep. When I tried to kill Griswald in hell. Amp'ed me and I was like that for the entire game. I still managed to kill him though ;)

When me and some pals were dueling, someone got tapped and it didn;t go away for the whole game. It wasn't working though.
OMG! This late into v1.11b I have found a bug that no-one else has seen here yet! What do I win? A cookie Gorny spat on?!

It happens time to time, I've seen it a dozen times or so and it's just lag, or a display error because only one curse will be active (the one that was casted last). In other words you only see the curse animation but are not cursed at all.
Lag is the culprit.
