Ancient tunnels is under the lost city, look for a trapdoor.

Crypt/Mausoleum are in the Burial Grounds, where Blood Raven is.

And yes, kill everything.

Ancient tunnel
open that hatch in lost city act2
no cold immunes here except some random bosses
tc85 area

Mausoleum
near blood raven act1
no fire immunes here except some random bosses
tc85 area

Crypt
near blood raven too
no fire immunes
tc83 ?

That ancient tunnel is best for cold sorc, just use glacial spikes between blizzs.
Much smaller area and higher monster density.
Much easier to clear all, no real time savings just killing champions. And good exp anyway.
So small area, so good to run in full games.

Merc with reapears toll or kelpie snare keeps him alive.
Or else use rogue/act3 cold merc (he freezes them for you)

Those mausoleum (are easy) are painful to run, so better rince and repeat ancient tunnel in full games. You need to make blind teleports there, so its harder to survive with full mf setup. But good to run sometimes, when got bored with ancient tunnel.

Edit: too slow. Cant delete in this forum or?

What isn't immune in pits again?

And is the maggot lvl 3 a good place to run also?

Pits won't have Magic Immunes (for sure - so bring your hammerdin :p), and Physical Immunes (less certain - a stone-skin boss might become PI). I also think Poison Immunes don't spawn there, but I'm not as certain (it's been a while since I ran pits). Fire/Cold/Light immune do spawn, so Infinity/lightning sorc is about the only single-element sorc that solos well there, IIRC. Most of the monsters don't have a ton of life, so most dual-element sorcs will do quite well there though.

I once had an awesome map to Maggot3 (I play SP, so I have static maps and can run anything quickly without worrying about temp-bans)... I tried a few runs, but found that the narrow passages really make a bottleneck that slows things down. Even with a great map and a strong killer it's still slower than a lot of other areas. Also, I think it's a level84 area, which would mean that champion-class monsters would have a little lower limit of the high-end items they can drop.

Thanks, seems to me that ancient tunnels still rule, the layout of the maps there are just perfect too, kind of like never getting overrun by to many enemies and also not too narrow pasageways and corners wich could surprise you with extremely fast and hardhitting enemies, never died there once myself where at countess for example i do die once in a while (because of archers coupled with fast ghosts and such).
