Claw + Shield in PvM?

What type of a PvM Assassin uses this combination? I rarely see Assassins wielding a claw and a shield. Any use for a shield on sin?

PS or TS/DTail could use claw/shield. For the rest it is mostly claw/claw or weapon/shield.
